Opportunity As a Senior Account Executive for the DACH region, you will play a strategic role in driving digital transformation in manufacturing. You will be responsible for selling Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related industrial software solutions. Your expertise will help customers optimise production processes, unlock efficiency, and support the broader energy transition. You’ll manage the full sales cycle: from discovery and strategy to contract negotiation and closure – while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Drive strategy, develop customer relationships, define tailored MES and industrial software solutions, and close complex deals.

Collaborate with internal teams to grow software licence, service, and support revenue.

Translate customers’ business needs into value‑driven solutions that demonstrate ROI and business impact.

Build multi‑year account plans and ensure alignment across marketing, product, and development teams.

Deliver a professional and consultative sales experience, guiding customers through each stage of the engagement.

Formulate winning proposals by leveraging deep industry knowledge and expertise in MES and digital manufacturing solutions.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

Proven, hands‑on experience selling MES solutions is mandatory. Experience in other industrial or automation software solutions (SCADA, digital manufacturing tools) is highly valued.

Track record of closing complex, enterprise‑level B2B deals across multiple stakeholders.

Solid understanding of manufacturing IT, production processes, and digital transformation in industries such as Automotive, F&B, Consumer Packaged Goods, or Discrete Manufacturing.

Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; consultative mindset with a passion for industrial digitalisation.
