At Haim Vasquez Immigration Law, PLLC, we believe that every immigrant’s story matters. Our work goes beyond filings and hearings — it’s about restoring hope, protecting families, and building futures. We’re looking for an attorney who shares that vision — someone driven by advocacy, grounded in integrity, and ready to make a real impact in our community.
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Immigration Attorney to join our litigation and family-based immigration team. The attorney will handle a diverse caseload, including removal defense, waivers, and family-based petitions, while representing clients before EOIR, USCIS, and other government agencies. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values excellence, empathy, and community service. Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in immigration court hearings, bond proceedings, and interviews before USCIS. Develop case strategies, prepare filings, and draft motions, briefs, and appeals. Conduct client consultations and communicate regularly to ensure clarity and trust throughout each case. Coordinate with legal assistants, paralegals, and support staff to manage deadlines and documentation. Participate in community outreach events, legal education workshops, and pro bono initiatives organized by the firm. Contribute to a positive, mission-driven work culture that supports both professional growth and client-centered advocacy. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of immigration law experience, preferably in removal defense or family-based matters. Licensed and in good standing with a U.S. state bar. Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities. A demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights and social justice. Experience in law review, immigration clinic, or trial advocacy preferred. Spanish fluency strongly preferred. Why You’ll Love Working With Us
