Your Role on the Team
Perform the most complex CT imaging procedures at least 60% of the time, producing diagnostic images of the human anatomy and vascular structures following prescribed protocols.
Collaborate across modalities to ensure responsive and consultative relationships with all levels of staff and faculty.
Act as the technical subject‑matter expert for the CT department, overseeing the technical competence of staff and developing and implementing all clinical imaging protocols.
Serve as primary contact for research related projects, protocols, scheduling, and development.
Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of procedures performed; coordinate exams with other services; coordinate patient transportation to appropriate areas of the hospital; communicate pertinent patient information with ER and nursing units; and exercise strict patient confidentiality.
Adhere to on‑call, holiday, weekend, and weekly work schedules and participate in rotating shifts as required.
What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications
Venipuncture Certification
Minimum of three (3) years recent CT experience in an adult acute care facility
Graduated from an AMA Radiologic Technology program
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Comfortable with a constantly changing environment and ability to develop an appropriate work pace for workload
ARRT‑CT and ARRT certification
Must be able to participate in an on‑call rotation
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
CRT license/certification
Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiological Sciences
