Senior GIS Support Analyst – Brooklyn, N.Y.
Duration: 12+ months (Contract Hybrid)
Location: 30 Flatbush Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y.
NOTE: Local candidates only. 9 AM – 9 PM EST shift flexibility and rotational weekend coverage.
Job Summary Provide development, technical support, and administration for the Client’s ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and related applications.
Responsibilities
Develop minor enhancements in Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, ASP.NET (C#).
Support client Landbase applications, including new development and troubleshooting.
Deploy and administer ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal & Server) and its site configurations.
Monitor system performance and tune for optimal operation.
Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
Coordinate with server support, security, DBA teams, and provide status updates to client SME.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by end users of enterprise applications.
Maintain ticket status and share best practices / lessons learned.
Qualifications
5‑10 years experience in administration, support, and development of ArcGIS/ArcFM applications.
Proficiency in Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, and ASP.NET (C#).
Experience deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal & Server) and managing ArcGIS server sites.
Strong system monitoring, performance tuning, and service publishing skills.
Ability to coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
Experience providing status updates and troubleshooting ticket resolutions.
Additional Desired Skills
Utility industry experience (Electric, Energy, Gas) to enhance GIS solutions.
Experience with Windows Server administration.
Proficiency with FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities.
