$80.00/hr - $90.00/hr A dynamic Solution Architect is needed to join the R&D team of a leading automotive client in York, MI. This pivotal role involves leveraging AWS cloud architecture to modernize legacy systems and accelerate next-generation innovation in the automotive technology sector. Ideal for passionate professionals eager to shape the future of mobility within a collaborative and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable AWS cloud solutions for research and development (R&D) projects. Lead modernisation of legacy applications (PHP and similar technologies). Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple local sites to align architecture with business goals. Define and enforce best practices for security, performance, and maintainability. Maintain architectural documentation and reusable patterns for future projects. Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as an AWS Solution Architect (certification preferred). Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes). Hands‑on experience modernising legacy applications (PHP highly desirable). Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Additional Details

Frequent on-site presence expected; local candidates strongly preferred. Experience in R&D or automotive environments is a plus. Benefits
