Assistant Controller
to support the accounting, reporting, and control functions for their growing
Private Credit
platform. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong public accounting foundation and hands‑on experience in private credit or alternative investments who is ready to take on broader ownership within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support all aspects of financial reporting for private credit funds, co-investments, and related entities.
Assist in managing the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including valuations, accruals, and reconciliations.
Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, and investor statements; ensure accuracy and timeliness across fund structures.
Partner with the Controller and senior finance leadership to maintain strong internal controls and consistent accounting policies.
Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to support audits, financial statements, and regulatory filings.
Participate in system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability across the finance function.
Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to investment and operations teams as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.
4–7+ years of relevant experience, including
public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent)
and
private credit, private equity, or other alternative investment exposure .
Strong understanding of fund structures, investment valuations, and GAAP reporting requirements.
Highly organized with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level
