Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy

• Design, development, and implementation of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, and battery storage installations) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

Base Pay Range $60.00/hr - $68.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

Develop and review

civil and site designs

for renewable energy facilities, including grading, drainage, foundations, access roads, and utility layouts.

Coordinate with structural, electrical, and environmental engineers to integrate civil components into overall project designs.

Conduct

site visits

and field assessments to verify existing conditions, collect data, and support construction activities.

Prepare and review

engineering drawings, specifications, and reports

to ensure compliance with applicable codes and company standards.

Support construction teams with

technical guidance , field issue resolution, and design adjustments as needed.

Work closely with project managers to track progress, maintain schedules, and manage design deliverables.

Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and permitting agencies as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in

Civil Engineering

or related discipline.

3–5 years of experience in

civil design or engineering

within energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors.

Familiarity with

renewable energy project design

(wind, solar, or battery) preferred.

Proficiency in

AutoCAD Civil 3D ,

GIS , and other design software.

Strong understanding of civil design standards, permitting processes, and construction practices.

Excellent analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
