The team plays a critical role in supporting project development and execution by delivering high-quality civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering expertise across multiple renewable initiatives. Position Summary

The Civil Engineer will support the development and execution of renewable energy generation projects, contributing to the design, planning, and successful delivery of multiple ongoing initiatives. This role will provide civil engineering support across 3–4 active projects, working collaboratively with internal engineering disciplines and external partners to ensure project quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Provide civil engineering support for the planning, design, and construction of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery installations. Support site development, including grading, drainage, access roads, and foundation design coordination. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers, project managers, and developers to support integrated project solutions. Review design drawings, site layouts, and civil deliverables to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements. Assist in coordinating with contractors, consultants, and permitting authorities as needed. Support the preparation of engineering documents and reports for project execution and regulatory review. Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance project quality and delivery efficiency. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field (required). Professional Engineer (PE) license not required. Experience in generation plants, substations, or utility projects preferred. Strong understanding of civil site development, construction principles, and applicable design standards. Effective collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. Work Schedule & Location

Hybrid schedule: Onsite in Jackson, MI Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; remote work on other days. Occasional travel to project sites may be required. Interview Period: Week of November 10 Start Date: Early December Seniority level
