Location & Schedule: Lakewood NJ / Monday-Friday Full-Time In-Office
Role Type: Full-Time On-Site Leadership Role
Compensation Range: $175,000 - $225,000 (DOE)

The company manages a multi-entity portfolio with an active pipeline of new acquisitions and a strong reputation for long-term value creation.
The Opportunity The Director of Finance will oversee all accounting reporting and financial management across a diverse real estate portfolio. This leader will manage a skilled accounting team and be responsible for implementing processes that improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with experience building teams, developing systems, and partnering closely with ownership on financial strategy and reporting.
Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Management
Oversee all accounting functions including AP, AR, general ledger, and month-end close.
Manage consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and properties.
Implement scalable accounting systems, controls, and workflows.
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards.
Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external advisors.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a 56-person accounting team ensuring accountability and professional growth.
Define roles, structure, and priorities to align with company goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, clarity, and process improvement.
Strategic Finance
Partner with ownership on forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
Support due diligence, integration, and reporting for new property acquisitions.
Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Proven success building and leading accounting teams.
Hands‑on leader with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
