Job Summary The position is responsible for after hours on-call with the Large Animal Emergency Surgery Team assisting with surgery setup, cleaning, and charging for emergency cases in the Equine section.
Essential Functions The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with emergent surgical cases such as colics, arthroscopic procedures, and lacerations, as well as preparing the surgical area, ensuring sterile preparation of the patient, post-procedure clean-up, and charging for all equipment and supplies used during the procedure.

Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled as an Auburn University student.
Must be a Pre-Vet undergraduate student OR a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year veterinary student.
Pay Rate $12.00/hour
Work Hours Up to 15 hours per week during fall and spring semester; ability to work up to 40 hours during summer semester and official university breaks.
Location Auburn, Alabama.
