Overview:
Become part of ENERCON as an Instrumentation and Controls Design or Project Engineer. We are seeking talented I&C Engineers at all experience levels, from early‑career professionals to principal engineers. Our career path offers roles at mid‑level, senior, or principal, with opportunities for full‑time, part‑time, or temporary work. ENERCON Federal Services (EFS)
Data Center Mission Critical (DCMC)
Energy Group (EG)
Responsibilities Our engineers collaborate with interdisciplinary partners and coordinate with diverse engineering teams to ensure project success. A typical day may include developing design studies, preparing engineering calculations and analysis, attending project meetings, performing walk‑downs, or mentoring junior employees.
Key responsibilities:
Create impactful engineering deliverables: precise drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
Set the standard: Develop documents that meet or surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
Stay on the cutting edge: continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.
Drive quality & precision: Deliver solutions aligning with rigorous QA programs and raising the bar for project performance.
Cultivate strong client connections: Build trust through clear communication and professional engagement.
Collaborate for success: Partner seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs.
Be active in the field: Engage directly with clients, perform plant walk‑downs, and ensure all structures, systems, and components meet high standards.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications for the mid‑level position:
Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering Degree from an accredited university.
Minimum 3 years of experience designing electrical systems.
Experience in one of the following industries highly preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (chemical or pulp & paper), energy, and government (DOE) projects.
Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
Proficient in Word and Excel.
Note: Some roles may involve federal contracts that require U.S. citizenship. Only U.S. citizens will be considered for those positions.
Senior Engineers typically have 7 years of post‑graduate experience in a related role.
Principal Engineers typically have 10 years of post‑graduate experience in a related role.

Pay Range:
USD $90,000.00 - USD $177,450.00 /Yr.
