Responsibilities The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary partners, coordinating with diverse engineering teams, and ensuring project success. Typical tasks include:
Create Impactful Engineering Deliverables: produce precise, error‑free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
Set the Standard: develop engineering documents that meet and surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
Stay on the Cutting Edge: continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.
Drive Quality & Precision: deliver exceptional engineering solutions that align with rigorous quality assurance programs.
Cultivate Strong Client Connections: build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication and professional engagement.
Collaborate for Success: partner seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, well‑rounded designs.
Be Active in the Field: engage directly with client personnel, performing detailed plant walk‑downs and ensuring all structures, systems, and components meet the highest standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering Degree from an accredited university.
Minimum 3 years of experience designing electrical systems.
Experience in one of the following industries highly preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (chemical or pulp & paper), energy, and government (DOE) projects.
Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and in teams.
Proficient in Word and Excel.
Note: Some roles may involve federal contracts that require U.S. citizenship. Only applicants who can confirm their status as U.S. citizens will be considered.
Senior Engineers typically have 7 years of post‑graduate experience in a related role.
Principal Engineers typically have 10 years of post‑graduate experience in a related role.

Pay Range USD $90,000.00 - $177,450.00 /Yr.
