Instrumentation and Controls Engineer – Mid, Senior & Principal Levels Become a part of ENERCON as an Instrumentation and Controls Design or Project Engineer. We are seeking talented I&C Engineers at all experience levels, from early‑career professionals to principal engineers.

Responsibilities

Create accurate engineering deliverables that meet or exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.

Develop engineering documents that surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.

Continuously improve knowledge of industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.

Deliver engineering solutions that align with rigorous quality assurance programs and raise the bar for project performance.

Build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication and professional engagement.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, well‑rounded designs.

Engage on-site with clients, performing plant walk‑downs and ensuring all systems meet the highest standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering from an accredited university.

Minimum 3 years of experience designing electrical systems.

Preferred experience in engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (chemical or pulp & paper), energy, or government (DOE) projects.

Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.

Ability to work individually and in teams.

Proficiency in Word and Excel.

U.S. citizenship is required for positions on federal contracts.

Senior Engineers: 7 years of post‑graduate experience.

Principal Engineers: 10 years of post‑graduate experience.

Early‑talent candidates with fewer than 3 years of experience will be transferred to the Early Talent Team.

Pay Range USD $90,000.00 – $177,450.00 per year.
