Summary The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a Vice Chairperson for their division of Laboratory Medicine. In this role, the incumbent will direct the clinical laboratory operations for the division with a focus on development and execution of strategic initiatives within the Department of Pathology.

The successful candidate will oversee the clinical chemistry, hematology, and microbiology sections of the laboratory and will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, directing faculty members within the division of Lab medicine, and supporting operational and diagnostic testing enhancements.

Qualifications

Doctoral Degree (PhD) in an appropriate field with 7 years of experience.

Eligibility to obtain a certificate of qualification as a CLIA laboratory director in NYS in relevant clinical laboratory categories.

NOTE

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
