Project Architect
We are seeking a dynamic Project Architect to join our Retail Studio in Seattle. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and possesses a strong background in construction documentation and detailing. You will lead multiple retail rollout projects, typically managing 4–6 projects at a time. Your responsibilities include working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality, code‑compliant drawing sets, ensuring technical accuracy, coordinating specifications, and guiding project teams through the design and documentation phases.
Responsibilities
Lead multiple active projects from design through construction.
Produce detailed construction document sets and coordinate specifications.
Manage client communication and consultant coordination.
Oversee internal teams and mentor junior staff.
Support construction administration and project delivery.
Essential Skills
Expertise in Revit and construction documentation.
Strong background in architecture and retail projects.
Proven ability to lead multiple projects and teams concurrently.
Skilled in client engagement and presenting design solutions.
Extensive experience in construction detailing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with high‑volume retail rollout projects, preferably in food & beverage.
Familiarity with specifications and consultant coordination.
Licensed architect proficiency required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
Work Environment The work environment offers a flexible hybrid schedule with core hours for team collaboration. Most work is completed during standard business hours, providing you autonomy to manage your day. The studio is fast‑paced and collaborative, emphasizing technical excellence, mentorship, and creative problem‑solving.
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $34.00 – $39.00 /hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
