We’re seeking a
Trade Compliance Analyst
to support the implementation of end-to-end import/export and tariff compliance activities. This role is ideal for someone experienced in
U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, valuation, and trade programs
who enjoys ensuring compliance while optimizing efficiency across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor updates to U.S. Customs Regulations (19CFR), HTS codes, and trade laws.
Classify and maintain accurate
HTS codes
and
country of origin
for imported/exported products.
Apply
U.S. Customs valuation methods
and analyze tariff exposure/duty spend.
Ensure compliance with
CBP, ITAR, and EAR
regulations.
Support Customs programs (Duty Drawback, Temporary Import Bonds, etc.).
Liaise with
customs brokers and freight forwarders
for shipping/pre‑clearance instructions.
Assist in internal audits, reporting, and documentation.
Contribute to SOP and training development for import/export processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Business
(or equivalent experience).
5+ years in logistics/supply chain/international business; 3+ years in trade compliance or customs.
In‑depth knowledge of
U.S. Customs regulations ,
HTS classification , and
valuation methods .
Experience with
ERP systems (SAP)
and
trade automation software .
Strong
analytical, documentation, and communication
skills.
Preferred
Licensed
U.S. Customs Broker
(plus).
Experience with
Duty Drawback ,
FTZs , or
CTPAT
programs.
Background in
aerospace, defense, or high‑tech
industries.
