Assistant, Associate, Full Professor of Surgery – Vascular Surgeon
UCSF East Bay Surgery Program — Department of Surgery — University of California, San Francisco
The Department of Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a full‑time academic surgeon with an exemplary record of patient care and expertise in Vascular Surgery. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible and have completed or will complete an accredited Vascular Surgery fellowship or integrated residency program. This position is located at the UCSF‑East Bay Surgery program based at Oakland’s Highland Hospital, a member of the Alameda Health System with a catchment population of over 2 million.
Selected candidate(s) will support the continued expansion of the vascular and endovascular surgery practice at UCSF‑East Bay, which includes a broad range of open and endovascular procedures at Highland Hospital, community affiliates, vascular trauma at the level‑1 trauma center, complex venous disease, spine exposure, and oncologic reconstruction. Applicants with a successful track record or strong interest in clinical research, education, and quality improvement programs are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must possess recognized skills in the education of surgery residents and medical students and will be expected to actively participate in the Department’s residency training and educational programs.
Salary is based on UC salary scales and is commensurate with rank and step. The minimum base salary range is $154,700 – $405,900.
