Role Summary As a Hardware Regulatory Compliance Engineering Program Manager, you are experienced in Radio Frequency (RF), ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and product certification processes. You possess a deep understanding of North American and Global standards and compliance requirements, and how to navigate the evolving world of country‑based and industry regulations. You will collaborate with a skilled cross‑disciplinary team to develop certification strategies and drive them from concept to test execution and through regulatory approvals, leading the team through global scaling required with our program portfolio. Working hand‑in‑hand with internal interdisciplinary teams and brand partners, you will drive the scope, schedule, internal and external resources through compliance requirements and testing. Your proactive nature, deep problem solving skills, and ability to excel in a collaborative peer environment are what will make the team a success.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with EMC/RF engineering team to scope and analyze regulatory and industry compliance requirements; gather, document and track brand partner requirements above and beyond industry standards.

Plan and direct compliance testing of hardware platforms, devices, and accessories with external 3rd party test labs and internal test assets, supporting both physical asset and team resource management.

Track test set up requirements and readiness across chamber availability, testers, peripheral device availability and software.

Coordinate with a wide cross‑functional network of software TPMs and engineers, module TPMs, brand partners, and design engineering teams to gather requirements, cascade requirements and integrate regulatory testing timelines into the overall program plan.

Proactively communicate EMC/RF/Safety/Cybersecurity compliance strategy, execution status and risks; deliver concise and informative compliance updates to hardware, software and program leadership.

Drive cross‑functional debug on testing issues with structured problem‑solving frameworks; prioritize test plans across platforms and hardware based on critical‑path assessments.

Develop new processes, workflows and documentation strategies to meet RVT’s program portfolio growth and breadth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in RF/Microwave Design, Electromagnetics, Antenna, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of experience in wireless regulatory compliance, testing, and certifications.

5+ years of experience with wireless technologies including Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, WWAN (GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G), and others.

5+ years of experience with launching mass‑produced consumer and/or automotive electronics.

5+ years of experience in homologations for international countries, obtaining various industry certifications (e.g., BT SIG, WFA, etc.) and carrier certification.

Strong leadership skills in driving certification labs, effectively prioritizing testing plans, and achieving deadlines.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to think strategically and develop solutions quickly and effectively.

Experience with Atlassian‑based applications, including Jira and Confluence.

Passionate about process improvement and developing strong cross‑functional relationships.

Preferred

Experience in test setup with signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, call box, semi‑anechoic chambers, OTA chamber, and others.

Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Candidates:

$167,400.00 - $209,300.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
