$2,300/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This RN will join a highly skilled surgical team and must possess advanced competency in multiple surgical specialties. The OR supports a variety of procedures including general surgery, GYN, robotics, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure safe and efficient care throughout the perioperative process.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile field integrity during surgical procedures Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical specialties including general, ortho, neuro, and vascular cases Anticipate surgeon needs and prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies accordingly Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document all intraoperative care accurately and efficiently Assist in maintaining OR readiness and adherence to infection control standards

Requirements & Qualifications:

Skill Requirement:

Minimum skill level of 3+ in Joint, Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular (mandatory) Experience:

Broad surgical knowledge and experience across multiple service lines License:

Active RN License (North Carolina or Compact) Certifications:

BLS and ACLS (AHA required) Preferred Skills:

Robotics experience, trauma exposure, and advanced surgical case handling Traits:

Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a high-acuity surgical environment
