Responsibilities
Perform financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and key performance insights. Review project revenues, costs, budgets, and variances for accuracy and performance. Reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts and prepare consolidated financial statements. Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes. Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable; process transactions and prepare client invoices. Manage tax filings and maintain the firm’s tax calendar. Record cash receipts and disbursements for IOLTA trust and operating accounts. Provide monthly financial reports and insights to firm leadership. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Assist with year-end audit and financial reporting. Qualifications
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Experience of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a law firm or accounting firm environment. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and standard accounting procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data entry, and accounting software. Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality of financial information. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Seniority level
