POSITION SUMMARY Our Client is seeking an experienced and driven Retail Leasing Representative. This individual will be responsible for leasing their portfolio of retail assets and playing a key role in evaluating new acquisitions from a leasing and tenant-mix perspective. The position requires strong market knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fully integrated team that includes acquisitions, development, construction, and asset management professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively source, negotiate, and execute retail leases across Company’s portfolio of shopping centers and mixed-use projects.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and local retailers, brokers, and tenant representatives.

Partner with asset management and construction teams to ensure lease terms align with property strategy, tenant build‑out requirements, and project timelines.

Prepare and present leasing strategies, deal summaries, and pipeline reports for management review.

Collaborate with the acquisitions team to provide market intelligence, rent comps, and tenant demand assessments during underwriting and due diligence.

Represent Company at industry events (ICSC, broker functions, etc.) to promote the firm’s properties and brand.

Maintain awareness of market trends, competing properties, and tenant movements across Florida and key Southeast markets.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field preferred.

3–7 years of experience in retail leasing, preferably with a landlord or owner/operator.

Strong existing relationships with brokers and retail tenants in the Florida market.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Florida Real Estate License required or ability to obtain.
