POSITION PURPOSE: The Human Resources Coordinator serves as an essential member of the HR team and provides administrative support to the department as well as Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations, Treasurer (EVP). The Human Resources Coordinator performs a variety of administrative and confidential matters associated with the Office of Human Resources, including recruitment, HRIS coordination, advertising, orientations, departmental and college wide purchases etc. SALARY RANGE:

$43,000 - $45,000/Annually

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: • General administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations, Treasurer including scheduling meeting, planning travel arrangements and reconciling expense and credit card statements. • Establishing and maintaining a high level of visibility and accessibility to all team members delivering the ability to meet employee needs with a high level of trust and respect.

RECRUITMENT • Posting vacant positions internally and externally through Paycor Applicant Tracking System. • Under the direction of VP Human Resources trains new Hiring Managers on the College recruitment process and the use of Paycor Applicant Tracking System. • Completing weekly Open Job Reports to communicate status of open positions to Human Resources staff and the Executive Team. • Working with Human Resources Staff and Hiring Managers to schedule candidate interviews. • Sources candidates for open positions through different channels like LinkedIn etc.

ONBOARDING • Preparing offer letters for VP of Human Resources signature and all new hire internal/external communication (i.e. congratulations email and background check). • Conduct reference checks and verify education credentials. • Under the direction of VP of Human Resources conduct orientation sessions on requirements for completing all new hire/payroll paperwork alongside the VP of Human Resources. • Processing all the paperwork for all new hires in timely manner. • Ensuring onboarding trackers is always up to date with all onboarding related pointers of full time, part time, student workers, and adjuncts hirings. • Meet new hires on first day to get them set up and give them campus tour. • Verification of i-9 documents including E-Verify and physical filing to keep in compliance.

PAYROLL • Partnering with the HR team and the Payroll Accountant to ensure all new hire entries are made timely on payroll adjustment sheet bi-weekly payroll. • Entering all employees' information into the Human Resource Management System (HRIS), processing and maintaining all pertinent personnel file documentation for staff, faculty and student workers.

MISCELLANEOUS



Monitoring Human resources email inbox regularly and ensuring timely reply. • Facilitating Human Resources Events in collaboration with the VP of Human Resources • Coordinate in gathering and filing annual sexual harassment prevention training certificates • Managing the HR portions of the website and myLIM • Update and maintain Org chart with all changes and new hires. • Keep up to date the telephone directory, HiHello Business cards • Coordinating purchases for the HR office, including college-wide purchase of business cards • Creating and maintaining standardized employee files. • Assist with Performance Appraisal process. • Assisting in the distribution of annual merit increase memos and wage notices. • Responding to incoming Verifications of Employment in a timely manner. • Planning and organizing all HR sponsored functions under the direction of the VP of Human Resources. • Serving on different college-wide committees. • Working with the HR team to develop an overall HR strategy. • Attending professional and personal development programs. • Participating in all college wide programs. • Performing other duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

Annual performance goals are met. Appropriate assistance is provided to management, staff and faculty with regard to HR policies, procedures and practices. Good communication and coordination exists with departments. Senior Management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems. Collegial relations exist with staff and faculty

REQUIREMENTS: The person selected will have the following qualifications: Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Required Knowledge:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Experience Required:

1 year of Administrative specific experience or Coordinator experience preferred. Familiarity with Human Resources processes and procedures, HRIS, data and analytics preferred. Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical skills, oral and written communication abilities, effective project management abilities
