Overview Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high quality food and service, maintaining health and safety standards, managing a team of more than 20 employees, and meeting financial targets. This position requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and customer‑focused communication.
Responsibilities
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Conduct performance reviews
Cost products and services
Organise and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Address customer complaints or concerns
Provide customer service
Supervise more than 20 people
Qualifications
Education:
College or CEGEP
Experience:
2 to less than 3 years in restaurant management or related field
Computer and Technology Knowledge:
Accounting software, Electronic cash register, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Windows, Point‑of‑sale system, Spreadsheet
Personal Suitability:
Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Organised, Reliability, Team player
