Process Coordinator

Job Summary The Office of Enrollment Services invites applications for the Processing Coordinator to support EWU’s Dual and Concurrent Enrollment team. This entry‑level position supports College in the High School (CIHS) and Running Start (RS) programs through the application and registration process.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all application, registration, and data entry processes.
Serve as a primary contact for student participants and CIHS instructors regarding applications, registrations, and private high school payment indicators.
Work closely with EWU staff to ensure data flows are complete and functioning properly in EWU systems, and identify ways to improve processes.
Job Duties Technical and Operations Support
Input student data into information systems.
Audit applications daily.
Input student confirmation, cancellation, academic reinstatement approval and denial information.
Make initial admission decisions for former students.
Coordinate creation and filing of student application records.
Schedule and coordinate the transition of enrolled student records to the Office of Records and Registration.
Schedule and coordinate the periodic destruction of inactive student application records.
Coordinate daily mailings to students using communication systems and mail merge software with advanced macros.
Ensure application processes are completed efficiently and timely.
Continually assess and improve workflow for data entry and file management processes.
Develop and maintain written procedures to assist in maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Assist with application transition from the CRM to other systems.
Program Process Support
Inform CIHS students of proper registration procedures; resolve holds and problems.
Provide CIHS instructors and high school administration with potential registration restrictions due to academic standing holds.
Inform other EWU staff and faculty of current processing timelines, procedures, and other pertinent information.
Complete registration processes for students who have received advising about their academic holds.
Assist with testing and implementation of application system updates relating to Dual Enrollment.
Provide high school administration with academic reinstatement resources for students dismissed.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or equivalent years of work experience.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and produce desired results.
Experience with functional systems and complex data processes.
Clear, friendly, and effective oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding transfer admission and records management.
Ability to work independently and as a member of an integrated team.
Capacity to address diverse constituencies effectively.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SCT Banner or equivalent.
Proficient with laptop computer usage.
Responsive and flexible approach supportive of universal access for students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.
Experience with the Banner Financial Aid System, WordPress, Slate, or Navigate.
Additional Information Salary range: $44,868 – $51,612, commensurate with education, experience, and skills. Benefits include health, life, disability insurance, retirement, vacation and sick leave accruals, 13 paid holidays per year, tuition waiver for employees and eligible family members, and access to campus facilities.
