Direct Counsel is representing an
AmLaw 100 firm
seeking an experienced
Commercial Real Estate Associate
to join its Real Estate Practice Group in one of its Nevada or California offices (Las Vegas, Reno, or Walnut Creek). This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value real estate matters, including development, acquisitions and dispositions, zoning/land use, and commercial leasing.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on
real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects .
Manage
zoning, land use, and entitlement matters .
Negotiate and draft
commercial leases and related agreements .
Independently manage and close complex real estate transactions.
Provide strategic legal guidance to clients on real property and land use issues.
Qualifications
3–5 years
of experience in
commercial real estate transactions , development, land use/zoning, and leasing.
Strong understanding of
real property and land use law .
Demonstrated ability to manage transactions from start to close independently.
Excellent
academic credentials , communication, and writing skills.
Active
Nevada or California bar license
(or eligibility/willingness to take the bar).
Compensation & Benefits
National Salary Range:
$220,000 – $325,000 (final starting salary dependent on location, qualifications, and experience).
Discretionary
performance-based bonus
potential.
