Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Senior Accountant
to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible role, partner closely with leadership, and work within a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Month‑End Close & Financial Reporting
– Oversee the monthly close for multiple entities, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation. Deliver accurate management reports with variance analysis.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight
– Manage invoice approvals, vendor payments, and tenant billing while reviewing aging schedules to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize outstanding balances.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
– Track daily cash activity, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain cash flow forecasts. Prepare weekly payment runs with appropriate controls and dual approvals.
General Ledger & Budget Maintenance
– Ensure the accuracy of general ledger postings, project budgets, and intercompany transactions. Partner with project managers to monitor expenses and budget performance.
Audit, Tax & Compliance Support
– Collaborate with external CPA firms to prepare audit documentation and tax packages. Manage 1099s, sales tax filings, and annual reporting requirements.
Loan & Investment Tracking
– Reconcile debt and investment accounts, review loan amortization schedules, and assist with covenant tracking and reporting to lenders.
Systems & Process Optimization
– Maintain accurate digital and physical records, streamline accounting workflows, and support software upgrades (QuickBooks Desktop, Excel integrations, and related systems).
Must‑Have Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance operations; background working in real‑estate required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate across departments and present financial insights to leadership.
Organizational Skills:
Highly analytical with excellent organizational and time‑management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
