Role Overview

Teaching:

Deliver in‑person courses across undergraduate Games and Master of Engineering in Applied Engineering (MEAE) curriculum, including lectures, seminars, and studio simulations.

Service:

Participate in curriculum development, outreach to industry and government partners, and recruitment efforts. Contribute to university and professional service.

Necessary Qualifications

Terminal degree in a games‑related field (e.g., Ph.D. in Computer Science, MFA in Art).

Broad knowledge of practical game development aspects.

Demonstrated expertise in at least one Technical Arts area: tool scripting (MEL, Python), procedural content generation, virtual production, lighting, or VFX.

Evidence of creating games with interdisciplinary teams through technology and software.

Commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of current production trends, tools, workflows, and pipelines.

Recent industry experience as Technical Lead or similar position.
