About The Opportunity

A growing, people-focused organization in Orlando is seeking an experienced HR Generalist, bilingual in English and Spanish, to join its team. This is a hands‑on, multifaceted role responsible for managing payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance — all while helping foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate is an HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of a wide range of HR functions to support both employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer weekly payroll processing with accuracy and compliance with wage and hour regulations
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare reports related to deductions, taxes, and other payroll components
  • Coordinate and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k)
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit questions, enrollments, and issue resolution
  • Provide day‑to‑day HR support and guidance to employees and managers
  • Assist in handling employee relations matters with fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and new hire orientation to ensure a seamless employee experience
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and HR documentation
  • Support HR initiatives related to performance management, engagement, and training
  • Partner with leadership to improve HR processes and promote a strong, people‑first culture

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in HR generalist or HR administration roles
  • Hands‑on experience with payroll processing and benefits administration
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance standards
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., BambooHR, ADP, or similar platforms)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills

Preferred:

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP)
  • Experience supporting both office and field‑based employees
