LHH has partnered with a great firm who is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support transactional attorneys in our growing Real Estate team. We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive professional with strong communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare legal documents such as transactional closing documents, binders, title insurance, policies, endorsements, deeds, bills of sale, and assignments for attorney review and use
Initiate due diligence investigations (municipal liens, permits, zoning, UCC, bankruptcy, taxes, environmental, surveys, leases, contracts, entity qualification)
Prepare real estate closing statements, calculate prorations, prepare trust receipts, payment documentation, and wire transmittal letters; confirm wire instructions and disburse closing funds
Coordinate execution and delivery of closing documents and assist in the closing process
Conduct post-closing work, including recordation of documents, updating title, and preparing document files and binders
Provide clear, proactive communication to balance team workload and ensure timely, high-quality project completion
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred (high school diploma or GED required)
Minimum 5 years’ experience drafting purchase and sale agreements, title and survey review, and managing closings
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (in-person, email, phone)
Must be comfortable with billable hours
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), and document management systems (NetDocs)
Advanced Word skills (styles, track changes, document comparison)
Ability to provide high-level client service and manage multiple priorities
Salary range: $82,000 up to $122,000 per year (commensurate with experience, education, and skills)
Direct Hire
Hybrid, at least 2 days a week in office
