Founded by Cornell alumni, ex‑founders, and former McKinsey operators, we’re building a scalable GTM engine that moves fast, builds with conviction, and obsess over delivering real impact to the people who build our world.

About The Opportunity As our Founding BDR, you’ll be on the frontlines driving Muro’s growth— generating and qualifying pipeline that fuels our shift from founder‑led sales to a scalable GTM engine. You’ll work closely with the founders to refine our ICP, sharpen messaging, and open doors with some of the most innovative General Contractors in the country.

Remote or Hybrid (San Francisco); approximately 20% travel

What You’ll Do

Own your outbound motion end‑to‑end—research prospects, make high‑volume calls, and nurture leads through follow‑ups.

Build and manage a healthy pipeline—generate, qualify, and schedule demos with decision‑makers.

Run discovery calls to uncover pain points in preconstruction workflows.

Test and optimize outreach methods, messaging, and channels.

Collaborate with founders to refine messaging, ICP, and GTM strategy based on real prospect insights.

Represent Muro at construction industry events and conferences.

Help build the early sales playbook, systems, and culture as a founding GTM hire.

Basic Qualifications

1+ year of outbound sales experience as an SDR, BDR, ideally in SaaS or a high‑growth startup.

Demonstrated success exceeding quota and consistently generating pipeline through cold calls and creative outreach.

Resilient and resourceful—you handle rejection well and stay laser‑focused on results.

Strong communicator with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages that earn responses.

Highly organized and disciplined, with excellent CRM hygiene and attention to detail.

Coachable, driven, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, high‑ownership startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling SaaS or AI solutions; selling to General Contractors or within the construction industry is a plus.

Proven ability to manage complex, high‑value sales cycles (>$100K contracts).

Strong understanding of construction workflows and buyer dynamics in preconstruction or operations.

Comfortable representing the company at industry events and engaging with senior decision‑makers.
