Job Description Bring your curiosity and determination to make a positive impact on the future of transport, and we’ll help you go all the way. Join our team of globally connected specialists to help solve complex transport challenges and experience groundbreaking projects from idea to delivery, and beyond.

Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a Senior Transportation Engineer to join our growing Highway, Roads & Bridges team in the US Southeast! In this role, you’ll take the lead in developing and preparing detailed contract plans and specifications that set the foundation for safe, efficient, and innovative roadway systems. Using advanced Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) tools, you’ll transform concepts into precise plans that meet rigorous design criteria, policies, and procedures. From roadway layouts to signing and pavement marking plans, signalization, lighting, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), you’ll assemble comprehensive design packages that drive impactful projects forward.

As a key contributor, you’ll perform complex engineering and geometric calculations, determine bid items and quantities, and prepare accurate cost estimates. You’ll also craft specialized designs for intersections, traffic maintenance, and profile grades—all with minimal supervision. Your commitment to quality will shine through as you conduct thorough checks and ensure every detail aligns with project goals.

Our Hybrid Work Model Be part of the dynamic culture! Our workplace thrives on a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility. Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.

Project Management: Deliver small- or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.

Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Client & Customer Management (External): Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.
