Senior Manager, Revenue Operations – Sam's Club MAP
This role is focused on driving business insights and enhancing sales performance for Sam's Club MAP. The senior manager will serve as the voice of sales to finance and executive leadership by translating sales objectives and challenges into actionable insights, creating accurate sales forecasts, identifying revenue risks, and fostering a strong partnership with the finance team.
Position Overview The role of the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations – will play a critical role in driving business insights and enhancing sales performance for Sam's Club MAP. This individual will serve as the voice of sales to finance and executive leadership by translating sales objectives and challenges into actionable insights. You will be instrumental in creating accurate sales forecasts and identifying potential risks to revenue, while fostering a strong partnership with the finance team. You will report directly to the Director of Revenue Operations, Sam's Club MAP, within the centralized MAP Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Forecasting & Finance Partnership:
Work directly with sales teams to create a highly accurate sales forecast each quarter. Develop tools including bottoms‑up analyses and models to provide insights into sales performance.
Partner closely with finance to ensure metrics are shared from a single MAP point of view.
Identify and raise risks to revenue proactively, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with sales and finance leadership.
Manage revenue operations reports and partner with the business intelligence team to enable business teams.
Business Analytics & Reporting:
Develop a deep understanding of our overall business and how our different products and sales investments layer into our broader strategy.
Define critical KPIs and operating rhythms to help teams manage performance and create operational rigor.
Serve as the primary point person for our Executive Team on understanding metric movements and trends, providing data‑driven insights.
Drive improvement in sales reporting, enabling the development of fact‑based insights that in turn bring about enhancement in sales efforts, hence, enabling the achievement of sales targets and objectives as well as the overall objectives and targets of the business.
Strategic Planning & Initiatives:
Support cross‑functional teams with long‑term planning as well as the annual operation plan process by leading the bottoms‑up revenue forecasting with Sales.
Partner with cross‑functional teams on projects with a focus on improving revenue growth and sales productivity.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations or sales finance.
Hands‑on experience with Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBI, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, across all levels of internal stakeholders.
Thrives in a fast‑paced and rapidly changing environment.
Project management experience with cross‑functional tech and operations teams.
Demonstrates company values and beliefs.
Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
Digital advertising experience preferred, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary: $117,000 – $234,000.
Performance‑based bonus awards (annual or quarterly).
