ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced and business‑minded Senior Counsel to join our Legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience with a strong foundation in contract negotiation. This role will provide strategic legal counsel across a variety of business functions and many business teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor, supply, and service contracts.
Advise on real estate transactions, including commercial leases and amendments and related real estate matters.
Support corporate governance and entity management, including entity formation, qualifications, and compliance matters.
Partner with internal business teams to identify legal risks and develop practical, business‑oriented solutions.
Manage relationships with external counsel and oversee legal spend for assigned matters.
Provide legal support for strategic initiatives, new projects, and expansion efforts.
Stay current on legal and regulatory developments impacting the business and proactively advise leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 7 years experience, either at a top law firm or a combination of law firm and in‑house experience.
Deep expertise in contract negotiation preferred.
Additional experience in corporate law (governance, M&A, compliance) and real estate law is preferred.
Excellent judgment, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
