Controller – Aerospace Manufacturing (Confidential Client)
We are partnering with a global engineering and manufacturing company that supplies high‑technology components and systems to major OEMs in the aerospace and defense industries. The organization has a long history of innovation, vertical integration, and operational excellence, and this role will be key in driving financial leadership across its Burbank campus.
The Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting and financial operations — from month‑end close and reporting to cost accounting, budgeting, and KPI management — while leading a strong accounting team and ensuring audit readiness under IFRS standards.
Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
Oversee month‑end close, reporting, and variance analysis.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational KPIs.
Maintain strong internal controls and audit compliance.
Oversee cost accounting, standard cost updates, and inventory valuation.
Manage the annual physical inventory and capital budgeting process.
Partner with leadership on process improvement and business performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including cost accounting.
Background in aerospace or manufacturing required.
Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
