Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr
Description My client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and enhance engineering and production processes in the aerospace sector. This role is based near Aurora and requires a hands‑on leader to drive operational excellence and innovation.
Align engineering initiatives with business goals and operational plans
Oversee reviews of customer specifications and ensure manufacturability
Lead capital projects including equipment upgrades and facility improvements
Apply CAD/CAE tools to analyze processes and optimize layouts
Define process capabilities, tolerances, and cycle times
Drive cost‑reduction and continuous improvement efforts, utilizing LEAN & Six Sigma methodologies
Provide technical support across departments and to external stakeholders
Mentor and develop engineering talent
Profile A successful Manufacturing Engineering Manager should have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
Prior experience in precision machining operations
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering leadership
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and project management
Proven track record leading cost savings/efficiency improvement initiatives
Job Offer
Base salary ranging from $130,000 to $145,000 USD, depending on experience.
5% annual bonus target based on site/personal performance.
3 Weeks PTO + 10 company holidays.
401k program with employer match.
