Cyber SDC- Purview and Defender for Office Operations Lead Eng - Senior - Consulting - Location Open

Join EY to shape secure data protection with Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office. We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Lead to administer, support, and continuously improve Purview, Defender for Office, and eShare platforms.
Responsibilities
Platform Administration – Administer Purview, Defender for Office, and eShare ensuring optimal performance, availability, and configuration of security settings and policies.
Change Management – Follow ServiceNow change lifecycle testing in DEV and QA before production promotion.
User Support – Resolve user incident tickets, troubleshoot root causes, implement configuration changes, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Documentation – Create and maintain KB articles, known issue posts, SharePoint materials, SOPs, and run reports on metrics.
Collaboration – Work with IT, security, and email teams to integrate tools, report escalations, and recommend improvements.
Continuous Improvement – Monitor DLP policy hits, stay updated on platform features, automate activities through PowerShell, Python, Tines, and PowerAutomate, and develop metrics dashboards.
Team Leadership – Lead cross‑time‑zone team, assign tasks, track progress, and provide team support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.
3+ years experience managing Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office solutions.
Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Experience scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools (Tines, PowerAutomate).
ServiceNow ticket and change management experience.
Experience leading international teams across time zones.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of eShare, multi‑tenant management, and dashboarding with Excel, PowerBI, Splunk.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, or CIPT.
Work Environment This position may require occasional after‑hours support and on‑call availability.
