Senior Manager, Finance – Sam’s Club – Bentonville, AR
Sam’s Club is part of Walmart Inc., a leading global retail company. As Senior Manager, Finance, you will lead financial planning and forecasting for the Dry Grocery merchandising teams, driving data‑driven insights and strategic planning within a large, matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement merchandise strategies aligned with business goals.
Build and maintain financial models to identify trends and inform key business decisions for productivity, sales, and profitability.
Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and evaluate business opportunities.
Provide financial advice to merchant partners, enabling data‑driven decision‑making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting or finance, OR 6 years’ experience in related area.
1 year’s experience leading and completing cross‑functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience analyzing data and interpreting results.
Proficiency with SQL, PowerBI, and BigQuery for data modeling and reporting.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and experience working cross‑functionally.
Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Business Administration) is a plus.
Compensation Base pay: $90,000 – $180,000 per year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and potential regional pay zone adjustments.
