Senior Accountant We’re seeking a
detail-oriented, driven Senior Accountant
to join a growing team and take ownership of key accounting functions. This role offers hands‑on involvement in financial reporting, month‑end close, and process improvement – ideal for an accounting professional looking to step into a visible, impactful role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, accruals, and journal entries
Manage balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Assist with audit preparation and coordination with external auditors
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations and leadership to provide financial insights
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred)
3+ years of progressive accounting experience (public + industry mix a plus)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting processes
Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP, or similar) and Excel
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Self‑starter mindset with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level
