Building Commissioning Engineer (M.E./E.E.) – Hybrid When you’re searching for the next step in your career, we’re looking for a Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in procurement, installation, and operation of HVAC and MEP systems, focused on energy efficiency. You’ll be working on mid‑size to large commercial projects—including new buildings and existing facility upgrades—directly contributing to sustained, measurable improvements in building performance.

Base Pay Range $90 000 – $120 000 per year plus potential bonuses

Qualifications & Responsibilities

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of commissioning or energy‑related experience, including retro‑commissioning of new and existing facilities.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, BAS/BMS, control systems, and performance testing.

Preferred certifications (EIT, PE, CEM, CCP, CPMP, LEED AP, BEAP) – not required.

Lead and execute commissioning projects from inception to close‑out.

Lead and execute condition assessments and energy audits for existing facilities.

Support the development of innovative energy concepts for new and existing buildings.

Provide project management and coordination on small‑ and medium‑sized projects, ensuring technical excellence, budget, and schedule.

Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and project team members.

Produce summary reports and presentations for clients and multidisciplinary project teams.

Support business development activities, including networking, client relationship building, and proposal preparation.
