Middle School Movement and Dance Teacher (IMMEDIATE OPENING)
Match Charter Public School is a free, high‑performing charter public school in Boston serving PreK‑12 students. A full‑time teaching position is available at the Jamaica Plain campus (215 Forest Hills St.).

About the Opportunity The role involves designing and delivering a curriculum in Dance and Movement for middle school students. Classes are conducted Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑2:45 pm with professional development on Wednesdays until 4:30 pm. A budget is available for equipment and supplies.
Salary Range:
$61,812 – $98,899 (based on prior full‑time teaching experience)
Benefits include 90% coverage of employee health insurance and up to $150/month loan repayment assistance.
USA work authorization required.
Responsibilities
Design curriculum and teach Dance and Movement classes at multiple grade levels.
Plan and execute engaging, interactive lessons that align with middle school standards.
Participate in regular professional development, coaching sessions, and faculty meetings.
Uphold a positive and safe school culture and assist with related duties.
Perform other duties assigned as a member of the school faculty.
Qualifications
At least 1–3 years of prior experience as a Dance and Movement teacher, preferably with middle school students.
Current Massachusetts teacher certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire.
Clear vision for a middle school Movement and Dance curriculum.
Strong skills in lesson design, delivery, and building relationships with students and colleagues.
Commitment to student success and continuous professional growth.
Belief that all students can and will succeed.
Desire to continually improve teaching practice by accepting and implementing feedback.
