The Electrical Engineer will design, analyze, and implement electrical systems and products for power, EV, wind, and solar projects. Key Responsibilities – Electrical Design Engineer

Perform electrical design, power system studies, and project budgeting estimates

Lead coordination and arc flash studies; perform IR Level 1 and Level 2 tasks

Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products for power, EV, wind, and solar

Develop manufacturing processes to meet global engineering codes and safety standards

Manage engineering projects to schedule and scope; define customer needs and requirements

Ensure installations and applications meet customer needs and safety standards

Collaborate with project managers, clients, estimators, senior leadership, engineers, technicians, and programmers

Analyze quality and performance of new and legacy IT-enabled systems; summarize data and report test results

Assess needs for new equipment, develop cost calculations, and support budget preparation

Monitor maintenance and inspection plans; uphold professional standards

Qualifications – Electrical Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required

Software: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SKM, Trimble

Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and related industry standards

Experience: new graduate to 5–10 years in electrical design for power, EV, wind, and solar

Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes and safety standards

Proven problem identification, analysis, solution development, and implementation

Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization and follow-up

Preferred Qualifications – Electrical Project Engineer

Experience delivering multi-discipline projects across utility, industrial, or commercial sectors

Prior leadership of arc flash and coordination studies; IR thermography Level 1 or 2

Familiarity with IEEE, NFPA 70E, UL, and relevant global standards

Physical Requirements – Electrical Engineer

Office-based in Lenexa, KS with occasional site visits

Ability to sit at a computer and to stand/walk on active job sites as needed

Lift, carry, and handle up to 25 lbs occasionally

Work typical business hours; overtime or off-hours visits as project needs require

Travel on an as-needed basis for meetings, site work, or commissioning

Compensation:

$130,000 per year
