Coda Search is partnering with an RE Investment Manager located in NYC. The team is seeking to hire an Assistant Controller who will be responsible for overseeing a team as well as their own portfolios of commercial properties. Responsibilities include preparing the monthly/quarterly financial statements, CAM reconciliations, budgets, forecasts and leading the annual audit. The role will work closely with asset managers and leasing specialists, overseeing all aspects of the property from start to finish. $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare the monthly/quarterly financial statements Lead and manage the month end close, overseeing the balance sheet/P&L reconciliations and monthly accruals Manage the GL and prepare any adjusting entries Review cash applications for approval Prepare the CAM reconciliations Prepare budgets/forecasts for each entity Oversee the annual audit Qualifications
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or Business CPA with Public accounting experience 6+ years of real estate/construction experience Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs/pivots) Prior experience with CAM reconciliations Seniority level
