About The Role
The Arden Hills Operations team is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer III to support component fabrication. The role is responsible for leading engineering initiatives for the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment to meet operations goals. In a fast‑paced environment, this position will primarily support the Progressive Stamping production line and collaborate with quality, production, R&D, and project management teams to achieve goals, update, improve, or add new manufacturing processes. Location: Arden Hills, MN (Onsite). This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Your Responsibilities Will Include
Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes to meet strategic company goals. Design fixtures, select tooling, and develop programs/processes for improving existing production components and developing new ones. Monitor equipment and process performance, providing troubleshooting and root cause analysis of non‑conformances, low yields, or other quality/production issues. Communicate effectively to peers, operations management, and supporting divisions (R&D, Sustaining Engineering, Project Management, etc). Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work to meet production and project goals. Apply problem solving and process improvement methodologies to complex manufacturing processes – driving root cause analysis and resolution. Train and/or provide work direction to manufacturing operators and technicians. Recognize quality signals and escape appropriately within the quality system requirements. Lead projects with cross‑functional team members working towards common business goals. Create, update, and enhance manufacturing work instructions for production personnel. Work collaboratively with divisional customer teams (R&D, Sustaining Engineering, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Quality, etc.) to deliver new product introductions, change management, process improvements, or business continuity projects. Gather, analyze, and summarize data – reporting conclusions to peers and management. Work with vendors/suppliers on technical design, procurement, and fabrication of materials, equipment, fixturing, etc. Be resilient in the face of setbacks; plan for risks and respond positively to unforeseen problems. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of related manufacturing engineering experience. Experience solving advanced technical problems and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proven understanding of manufacturing problem solving, data analysis, and production flow tools (e.g., LEAN manufacturing). Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a metal fabrication environment such as CNC or progressive die stamping equipment. Experience with 3D CAD programs and CAM software. Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional peers in sustaining process improvement and design for manufacturability of new products and technologies. Demonstrated project management ability to lead technical problem solving as well as continuous improvement projects. Previous experience in the Medical Device industry or other highly regulated device manufacturing. Experience completing validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ and process characterizations. Experience in solving advanced technical problems. Project Management experience. Requisition ID
