Position Overview The
Warehouse Manager
will oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company procedures. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can effectively manage a team of 5–10 employees, maintain strong communication with internal departments, and uphold operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage overall warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and order fulfillment.
Coordinate labor resources and maintain effective communication with temporary staffing agencies to meet daily and project‑based workforce needs.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to stay informed about upcoming projects, forecast workload, and ensure on‑time shipping and fulfillment.
Train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and productivity goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Monitor team performance and quality metrics, identify process improvements, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Oversee inventory management, verifying accuracy through cycle counts and audits, and developing initiatives to improve inventory control and minimize discrepancies.
Report regularly to upper management regarding performance metrics, staffing needs, and overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
