Responsibilities Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital Evansville seeks a BE/BC Pediatric Neurologist to join our pediatric multi‑specialty clinic. This unique practice model offers a consultative role with no after‑hours call duties. The Neurology Clinic is part of the Center for Children’s Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic, which includes Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Urology, Hematology, Sleep, Child Abuse, Psychology and Nutrition Clinics. Additional services include a Feeding Disorders Program, a Behavioral Health Clinic, and a Pediatric Therapy Program. The Neurology Clinic is currently served by part‑time pediatric neurologists; after‑hours consults and EEGs are covered by a separate neurologist. The clinic has a dedicated clinical team that provides teaching, support, and coordination of visits. A pediatric psychologist works closely with the neurology team to provide a multidisciplinary approach. The new physician will take over a part‑time practice with an existing patient base.
Ideal Candidate
Fellowship trained in Pediatric Neurology
Four or more years of post‑fellowship experience
Excellent clinical, communication, and team‑based skills
Commitment to family‑centered, evidence‑based care
BC/BE in Pediatric Neurology
Requirements
Indiana Medical license (MD/DO) obtained prior to hire date
Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
Location Evansville, IN – situated on the Ohio River in southwest Indiana, offering an affordable cost of living, excellent schools, abundant outdoor recreation, and cultural amenities.
