Job Description
We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd Shift. Join our team to perform essential maintenance duties in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
Dismantle and reassemble machinery and equipment as needed.
Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
Fabricate and modify parts as required using tools such as welders, grinders, and other equipment.
Work with PLCs, including installation and troubleshooting.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various equipment and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Experience in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair.
Proficiency in preventive maintenance and maintenance repair.
Understanding of schematics, blueprints, and PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Previous PLC experience preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.

Work Environment
You will work in a hectic and fast-paced environment, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winters. Interaction with everyone from office staff to assemblers and janitors is common. The role involves working within a docking station, as well as moving up and down warehouse aisles and assembly cells. The dress code includes wearing jeans and steel-toed boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
