to join their accounting team. The
Accounts Receivable Specialist
will manage customer billing, payments, and account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This
Accounts Receivable Specialist
plays a key role in supporting the company’s operations by maintaining smooth financial processes and helping deliver reliable, cost‑efficient service to both residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
Generate, send, and track customer invoices for goods and services
Monitor customer accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and resolve billing discrepancies
Record and reconcile incoming payments, ensuring accurate ledger postings
Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports, including aging summaries, to monitor cash flow and outstanding balances
Communicate with clients regarding payment terms, inquiries, and disputes
Maintain organized and accurate financial records for accounts receivable
Assist with month‑end closing activities
Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and accounting standards
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Procurement) to resolve transaction or billing issues
Utilize accounting software to manage and process transactions efficiently
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general accounting
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors, clients, and internal teams
Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills to resolve discrepancies
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes
Experience with Accounts Payable functions (invoice processing, payment scheduling, account reconciliation) is a plus
This position offers a competitive pay range of $21–$24 per hour, based on experience, along with a generous benefits package.
