Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the CFO and Executive Leadership Team in driving operational and financial performance. This role plays a key part in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making by delivering actionable insights, robust reporting, and data-driven recommendations across the organization. The Financial Analyst will analyze large and complex datasets, prepare monthly investor packages, support M&A activities, and develop automated, scalable reporting processes to improve visibility into company performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial reports related to budgeting and forecasting. Assist with monthly investor reporting packages, explaining assumptions and providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
Analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., NetSuite, Snowflake, HubSpot, Excel) to identify trends and provide insights that inform business decisions.
Define, track, and report key operating metrics; create interactive dashboards and reports in PowerBI, NetSuite, Excel, or other relevant tools.
Respond promptly to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests from management and investors.
Continuously identify process improvements and automate recurring FP&A tasks for efficiency and scalability.
Support special projects such as M&A analysis, pricing strategies, and new product launches through financial modeling and scenario planning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Quantitative Analysis, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience as a financial analyst in a fast-paced FP&A environment, ideally with exposure to private equity-backed companies or subscription-based revenue models.
Strong analytical mindset with enthusiasm for working with complex data sets and presenting insights.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI (or equivalent BI/visualization tools).
Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information and collaborating across teams (finance, sales, operations, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated professionalism and accuracy in high-pressure environments.
Continuous improvement mindset with curiosity for finding better tools, processes, and methods to drive efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with coding or scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA).
Database design, development, or maintenance experience.
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as R, SPSS, or Minitab.
