David
David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.
This is a compelling opportunity to be a part of an exciting new food brand as we operate within a critical growth stage. David is led by CEO Peter Rahal, the Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR. We have strong aspirations to become the most popular high-protein bar in North America and beyond.
We’re looking for a Learning & Development Strategy Analyst to help design the systems that power growth and performance at David. This role blends people strategy, capability mapping, and learning design - helping define what “great” looks like in every role, assess readiness, and build the programs that up skill our team.
You’ll work closely with the Director of People and leaders across the business to translate strategy into frameworks that grow capability and drive performance.
Responsibilities
Define Roles & Capabilities – Partner with leaders to identify key roles, clarify what “great” looks like, and build a capability framework that guides hiring, growth, and promotion.
Shape the Capability Strategy – Assess skill and capability gaps across teams, then design targeted interventions – from internal programs to curated external learning – aligned with workforce priorities.
Design & Deliver Programs – Create scalable learning initiatives and integrate learning into everyday performance cycles.
Enable Leaders & Teams – Equip leaders with toolkits and frameworks for talent development. Facilitate workshops and sessions that drive alignment and cross‑functional development.
Build Learning Infrastructure – Stand up lightweight systems, tools, and playbooks that scale learning across the organization. Develop and curate repeatable toolkits, role guides, and training materials that embed “how we work” at David.
Optimize Onboarding – Strengthen onboarding and role ramp‑up to accelerate new hire productivity and cultural assimilation.
Measure What Matters – Define success metrics for capability programs and use data to continually refine learning strategies and drive measurable performance improvement.
What you’ll bring
1+ year in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity work environment (consulting, investing, strategy, program management, bizops, or early‑stage startups)
Skilled in structuring ambiguous problems and building frameworks that scale.
Analytical and detail‑oriented, with strong synthesis and communication skills.
Comfortable working cross‑functionally and engaging with senior leaders
Curious, data‑informed, and passionate about building a high‑performance culture.
A desire to build an early‑stage CPG company with a mission to create tools to increase muscle and decrease fat
Practicalities
