Desired Start Date Position End Date (if temporary) To ensure full consideration, applications must be received by 11:59pm (MT) on07/24/2025 Description of Work Unit The Colorado State University Department of Athletics sponsors 16 mens and womens intercollegiate sports and competes as a member of NCAA Division I ( FBS ). The University is a current member of the Mountain West Conference and future member of the Pac-12 Conference. The University is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, 65 miles north of Denver. Position Summary The Associate Athletic Director for Brand and Marketing Communications is responsible for developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and revenue generation strategies and tactics through communication and content creation and distribution, advertising campaigns, database marketing, email marketing, social media and promotional initiatives for the department. Position is also tasked with increasing awareness that translates into brand enhancement, additional revenue, and attendance while also supporting NIL and new revenue opportunities. Required Job Qualifications Bachelors degree
Minimum of three years of experience in marketing, brand advertising, or communications in collegiate or professional sports
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with technology, social media, and communication platforms
Experience with supervising 2+ more direct reports including providing performance feedback
Must have a valid drivers license or the ability to obtain a drivers license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date
Preferred Job Qualifications Masters degree or equivalent
Four or more years of marketing or communications leadership experience in collegiate or professional sports
Knowledge of appropriate NCAA and MW conference rules
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as necessary for position
